Manic Monday

Paint for the bathroom, Abram’s conferences (they love him, of course), some new towels and a notebook, ink for the printer, dog food, a couple of plastic shoebox bins for an organization project (none of which could be picked up at the same place). Jess is working late so I opted for an early dinner out and some playing in the yard time. It’s almost 60 degrees and you gotta soak that up in April.The house is picked up, and clean, and while I have a big list of things that need to be done before my relatives arrive next Thursday…I’m generally content with what has been accomplished so far. I’m also telling myself (over and over and over again) that they are coming to visit me and not the house so the things that remain undone will NOT be the end of the world.I’ve also finally picked up the stitches for the collar on my mom’s sweater. I ended up having to tweak it a little bit, but once I got that all figured out I breathed a sigh of relief. The hard part is over. Now it’s just a lot of mindless knitting. Good thing I have until Christmas.While Jess and I were gone this weekend, I picked up a pattern and some yarn for another Christmas present over the weekend.
