Just a short little happy post today::
I got half way through my smoothie yesterday before I realized I forgot to add the banana. Don’t forget the banana. It’s not awful without it, but it’s certainly a whole lot better WITH it.
And I did one full circuit of my workout before dying. I would also like to point out that jumping rope and jumping jacks in a “mama” shred are cruel. If you have kids – you know what I’m saying.
I would also like to point out that there is definitely a method to Bobbi’s madness when she told us to throw out ANY processed food. I bought V and A some yogurt pretzels and it was a test of my will to not eat every.last.one. I did sample one for the same reason I only did one full circuit of a three circuit workout – I’m weak.
I promise I’m not going to make this blog all about healthy eating and exercising and how awesome Bobbi is (she’s really awesome) but I probably will share things throughout the week and because I need some accountability I’ll definitely be sharing how far I’ve come along on my mileage goal for the month.
I’m going to go wash and pack up the winter stuff now. (Knock on wood that we stay warm).
And a great big public shout out to one of my all time favorites: Happy Birthday, “Mary Poppins”. You’re an inspiration and I’m so grateful I get to call you friend.
I HATE forgetting the banana. Especially when it's one of those green smoothies. Just makes it SO much better. And you're not weak…you're just starting out. Give yourself some grace and then go kick your own butt. 🙂
