I know. I haven’t written in MONTHS.
But today, I am 40.
And that means I have goals to write down.
- Take pictures. Lots of them. Print them. Organize them. Put them in albums.
- Go to NYC.
- Create/implement a home cleaning routine.
- Celebrate my people.
- Make more things from scratch.
- Go camping.
- Organize and KEEP organized the home office.
- Finish unpacking the first floor.
- Walk.
- Go to the library. Take the kids.
- Smoke zero cigarettes.
- Buy fresh flowers at least once a month.
- Host a party at home.
- Make a cozy guest room.
- Knit a sweater for Jesse.
- Knit a toy.
- Have a yard sale.
- Embroider something.
- Bring back “Craft Thursday” at least once a month.
- Go social media free for at least a month.
- Go “screen free” for at least a week.
- Send letters & cards. At least 15 of them.
- Practice unapologetic self-confidence.
- Create two soundtracks – one for energizing & one for winding down.
- Listen to some podcasts.
- Keep a paperless kitchen.
- Unsubscribe from catalogs/emails.
- Take a class at the university.
- Continue to bullet journal.
- Go to Mass.
- Get to inbox zero.
- Eat at home challenge for one month.
- Go to a museum.
- Put together recipe box/update recipe binder.
- Read 30 books.
- Write a story.
- Make Kay’s molasses cookies.
- Take myself to a movie.
- Go the farmer’s market.
- Show up. Be loud. Make mistakes. Laugh. LIVE.
